Amy Jones is a consistent defender whose best position is at left back, but she can also operate successfully in midfield.
Coming through the youth set-up at the club, Amy progressed to the First team when she was just fifteen, under the then new manager Steve Phelps.
Amy played in the first team through out most of that 2004/05 season, and finished the campaign with great success, helping the club to win the Somerset County Cup against Premier League South outfit Keynsham Town Ladies.
Amy continued to play regularly for the first team over the coming seasons, but also became a vital member of the Reserve team. She is now established in that squad, playing a major role in all it’s resent successes, but is always available should Steve Phelps come calling.
Amy Jones is an FA qualified coach, and presently manages the Yeovil Town Ladies Under-Thirteen (Chaka) squad.
