Club Captain Sarah Lawler is a tough tacking central midfield player who has lead the club through it’s recent successes, and is as influential off the pitch as she is on it.

Sarah is a midfielder in the tough mould of someone like Roy Keane, and like the former Irish footballing legend, she never shirks a tackle. She gives the knocks, but can take them too, and with it, she is very fair player.

Sarah is a great ball winner, and is a good passer of the ball too, and likes to give her opposite number a tough job, but at the same time looks out for her team mates, keeping their heads up and focussed on the game.

Sarah is known for her long defence splitting passes, and although she isn’t a prolific scorer, she does have a key eye for goal, liking to test opposition goalkeepers with shots from outside the box.

Sarah Lawler is Steve Phelps’s right hand man on the pitch, and works tirelessly for the club off it too, and can always be depended on to get a job done and completed in the correct manner.

Sarah Lawler is a model captain, and already an FA Level three qualified coach, surely a major contender for future manager.
