Another product of the highly successful Kia Bowles 2008 League and Cup ‘double’ winning Under-sixteen youth team, Abi Palmer is an attacking midfielder with bags of potential.
Abi predominantly plays on the left side of midfield, but is equally as effective playing up front. She’s a strong player, and uses that strength well to make defence splitting runs up the flank, or in more forward positions, to burst into the box to create goal scoring opportunities.
Her never say die attitude makes her an important cog in any team she’s playing in, as does the vocal side to her game, with her actively encouraging her team mates throughout matches.
Abi made the jump from youth to senior football in 2008, and came straight into the reserve side, playing a massive part as Chris White’s team swept to the title, and promotion to the South West League in 2009.
Abi Palmer always plays with a smile on her face, and is a real live wire in the dressing room, so making her a highly popular member of the senior squad.
