Terri Trowbridge is a highly promising and talented midfielder who is in her second season at senior level, having broken into the first team set-up during the summer of 2009.
Terri possesses good pace, and is equally effective up front as she is in central or on the right of midfield. She has good ball control, and a keen eye for goal. However, her biggest asset is her superb vision and quick footballing brain, which allows her to draw others into the game with her repertoire of defence splitting passes.
Terri joined Yeovil Town Ladies when she was just ten years old, and is another product of Kia Bowles’ successful youth squad. Her potential was noticed at an early age from both within and outside the club, with her being nurtured by Bowles, but also recruited by the Somerset County Centre of Excellence.
With new rules restricting her links with the club, Terri spent two years concentrating her efforts at county level, and coming up against top class opposition she excelled, and on occasions also captained the side.
She is highly dedicated, and is determined to success at the highest level. She trains hard and looks after herself off the pitch.
Terri Trowbridge made her Yeovil Town debut on the 12th April 2009, when she came on as a substitute against Weston St John, and went on to make the right side of midfield her own. This season she is making the transition to a more central position, and continues to be a highly valued member of the squad.
Terri scored her first senior goal for Yeovil Town Ladies against Cleeve West Town Ladies in the Somerset Women’s Cup in January 2010, and has since become famed for the enthusiasm of her goal celebrations, especially with Dodge, the team’s goalkeeper.
She is still developing as a player, is a naturally gifted member of the squad, and with her dedicated attitude, she looks to have a great future ahead of her.
Terri Trowbridge is a regular member of the Somerset FA Under-18 squad, and she has also trialed for the English Colleges squad.
