Being a left footed player who possesses scintillating speed, great ball control, a great footballing brain and good eye for goal, Kayleigh Nardiello is a manager’s dream.
Kayleigh is best known as a high scoring left winger, but she is just as effective playing up front, especially as part of a three-pronged attack.
She in actual fact started her senior career as a striker, and finished her first season at Yeovil as top scorer, but manager Steve Phelps soon recognised her potential in midfield, and following the move, she has never looked back.
Kayleigh Nardiello is an integral part of the Yeovil Town Ladies first team. She is a player who uses her pace and control well, often slicing through opposition defences to set up a multitude of chances for the strikers with her pinpoint crossing.
She is just as good at cutting across the pitch to race into the box to score herself, usually getting into double figures in her season goal scoring.
Kayleigh is also a dead ball specialist, and is well known for curling the ball into the box from corners, or free kicks from the left side.
Kayleigh Nardiello learned her trade in the South West League, has matured superbly in the South West Combination and is ready to make the progression to the National League.
She is an important part of the club’s present and will be vital in its future!
Kayleigh Nardiello was awarded the 2007/08 season Yeovil Town ladies ‘Player of the Year’.
