Yeovil Town Ladies/Reserve Team

Having gained promotion from the Somerset League last season, the Yeovil Town Ladies Reserve team are in their first season playing in the South West Women’s Football League - Western Division One.

The squad is presently managed by Chris White, with Becky Wakely captaining the team, and Keith Claridge as linesman.

The team have already tasted considerable success by winning the Knock Out Cup in the 2006/07 season, and finishing runners up in the League in 2007/08. This was followed by championship success in 2008/09 – an achievement that sees them now playing just two levels below the First Team.

Now operating at a higher level allows this talented squad, that has an average age of just 18, to support the First Team with greater effectiveness, giving the players the necessary experience to step up to Combination football.

The Yeovil Town Ladies Reserve Team play their home games at the Somerton Sports Club, kicking off at 2.00pm. They train with the rest of the senior squad at the Tintinhull Sports Ground each Thursday evening from 6.30pm until 8.30pm.
