The Tintinhull Sports Ground
|
| The Yeovil Town Ladies Youth teams play their home games at the Tintinhull Sports Ground, which is situated a few miles outside of Yeovil. These teams also train at this facility, as do the First and Reserve teams.
The ground has one fixed pitch with dugouts, and one more full sized pitch if required in front of the club house. The layout of the ground is flexible, and allows for a number of junior pitches to be marked out, meaning that more than one match can be played at any one time.
|
The sports ground is owned and run by the Tintinhull Parish Council, and they are working hard to develop it as an all round sporting facility. As well as football, the ground contains tennis courts and has previously staged cricket. It is one of the focal points of the village, and is available to the public for their general use, both individually and for organised events.
Tintinhull Sports Ground has a fine clubhouse that contains two dressing rooms with hot showers, a kitchen and a meeting hall. The facilities are excellent for the size of the facility, and come up to the standard required by the South West League and Somerset youth leagues.

| Teams visiting the ground will find a reasonably sized car park at the far end of the facility, with access coming from here or through the residential area to the rear of the clubhouse. People visiting the ground are asked not to park in the residential area as it contravenes the rules of the facility and causes congestion.
The main pitch is situated at the far end of the ground, with the clubhouse and changing rooms up at the top, where there is room for a full pitch or a number of small-sided pitches.

| The clubhouse is open to the players before and after games, with the hall being available after games for refreshments etc.
The youth teams play their games on Saturday mornings, kicking off at 10.30am, unless otherwise stated. The First and Reserve teams train on Thursday evenings from 6.30pm until 9.00pm, with the Youth teams training on Tuesday nights from 5.30pm until 7.30pm.
Yeovil Town Ladies Football Club would like to thank the Tintinhull Parish Council for their continued support, and look forward to a long and lasting partnership.

Directions To The Tintinhull Sports Ground
From Yeovil: From Yeovil, head up the Cartgate link road to the A303. At the roundabout on the A303, take the last exit, heading towards London.
Continue along the A303 for 150 metres, and exit via a minor slip road, signposted towards Tintinhull. Continue to a T-junction, and turn right, heading into Tintinhull itself.
In the centre of the village (Opposite a bus shelter), turn right into Montacute Road. Continue through a small housing estate, and the road becomes a country Lane.
The road twists and turns, and eventually you will see a yellow barrier into the ground’s car park (Only a few minutes drive from the main road!).
The sports field is next to the car park.
